Alfie Budget

Helpful support, without the runaround.

Help with Alfie Budget purchases, private iCloud recovery, receipt scanning, reminders, privacy lock, export, and deletion.

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Start with the safe fix.

Keep your local budget intact, avoid sharing sensitive values, and use the focused recovery steps below before contacting support.

Contact Alfie support

Email dev@apexradius.io with “Alfie Budget” in the subject. Include the iPhone model, iOS version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps immediately before the issue.

Do not send full receipt images, account credentials, payment-card details, or private budget amounts. A cropped screenshot with sensitive values hidden is usually enough.

Purchases and restore

  • Confirm the device is signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  • Open Alfie Settings and choose Restore Purchases.
  • For billing, cancellation, or refund requests, use Apple’s subscription and purchase support because Apple processes the transaction.
  • If the entitlement still does not appear, email support with the product type and approximate purchase date, but never send payment-card information.

iCloud and returning devices

  • Confirm iCloud Drive is enabled and Alfie Budget is allowed to use iCloud in iOS Settings.
  • Keep the app open briefly after reconnecting to a stable network so private iCloud data can settle.
  • Do not delete a working local budget to force a sync. Alfie is designed to protect non-empty local data from silent replacement.
  • If the Apple Account changed, keep the current data intact and contact support before resetting anything.

Receipt scanning

  • Use even lighting, keep the full receipt inside the frame, and avoid strong shadows or glare.
  • Review the recognized merchant, date, total, currency, and category before saving.
  • If camera access was denied, open iOS Settings for Alfie Budget or choose a photo or manual entry instead.
  • Receipt recognition occurs on device, and nothing is added to the budget until you confirm the review.

Privacy lock and notifications

  • Face ID or passcode is optional and can be disabled on the device through Alfie’s recovery route.
  • Notification permission is requested only after you create a reminder and can be changed in iOS Settings.
  • Financial amounts are omitted from reminder previews by default.

Delete, export, and privacy requests

Use Alfie Settings for supported CSV export and confirmed data deletion. Export anything you need before deletion because deleted local data may not be recoverable.

For a privacy question, read the Alfie Budget Privacy Policy or email dev@apexradius.io. Apex Radius cannot inspect a private on-device budget unless you deliberately provide information in a support message.
