Terms for using Alfie Budget, including separate Apple and Android purchases, privacy controls, and budgeting limitations.

Use Alfie to plan and track your own numbers. The store for your edition handles its purchase flow; you control the information you enter and the decisions you make.
These terms apply to Alfie Budget, published by Apex Radius. By downloading or using an available edition, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Apex Radius grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Alfie edition made available through your platform's store on devices you own or control, subject to the store's usage rules.
Alfie helps you organize information you provide and performs deterministic budgeting calculations. It does not connect to banks, verify balances, provide investment, tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, or guarantee savings or financial outcomes.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of entries, decisions based on the app, backups or exports you choose to keep, and compliance with obligations that apply to you.
Alfie Basic is free forever on Apple with one active manual budget. Apple Premium may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices, eligibility, and terms shown in Apple's App Store purchase sheet are authoritative.
Apple monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through Apple. Subscribers Apple determines are eligible may see a 14-day introductory offer on monthly or yearly Premium; each person can redeem one introductory offer per subscription group, and lifetime has no trial. Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew.
Payment is associated with the Apple Account used for the transaction. Apple provides subscription management and refund requests under its terms. Restore Purchases can recover an eligible StoreKit entitlement for the Apple edition.

Alfie for Android is coming soon, so no Google Play purchases are available today. At launch, the planned US Premium catalog matches Apple: $3.99 monthly, $39.99 yearly, and $149.99 lifetime. Google Play will show authoritative localized prices and offer eligibility.
A Google Play monthly subscription will automatically renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal while access normally continues through the time already paid. The lifetime product will be a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Live localized price and purchase terms shown by Google Play will be authoritative.
Payment will be associated with the Google Account used for the transaction. Google Play provides subscription management and handles refund requests under its policies; the developer may also assist with purchase issues and eligible refunds. Apple purchases do not unlock Android. Google Play purchases do not unlock Apple. There is no Alfie account or cross-platform entitlement service, so restoring a purchase checks only the store account and edition where the purchase was made.
You control the information entered into Alfie. An edition may request camera, photo, notification, platform-private sync, or local-authentication capabilities only for the related feature. The Privacy Policy explains how those capabilities work.
Do not use Alfie to store unlawful material, information you lack permission to use, credentials, government identifiers, or content that could harm another person or system.
We aim to keep Alfie reliable, but device storage, iCloud or Google Drive, StoreKit or Google Play Billing, operating-system changes, network conditions, and platform services can affect availability. Features may change when necessary for security, compatibility, law, or product improvement.
We may suspend access to protect users or comply with law. We will not intentionally remove an earned store entitlement, but the applicable store remains the system of record for its purchases.
Apex Radius owns or licenses Alfie's code, design, brand, graphics, copy, and related materials. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
You may not reverse engineer except where law expressly permits it, interfere with app security, redistribute the app outside store-authorized channels, impersonate another person, or use Alfie unlawfully.
Alfie is provided as available and without guarantees of a particular financial result. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Apex Radius disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. If a jurisdiction does not allow part of this limitation, that part applies only to the maximum extent permitted there.
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
We may update these terms when Alfie, Apple or Google services, or legal requirements change. The last-updated date identifies the current version.
